Fusion Juicer review

Fusion Juicer: Review

I've been using an Oscar since I started juicing, it's a slow masticator so the quality of the juices is superb. However, it takes a long time chopping all the fruit and veg and pineapple tends to ooze  into the connections. There was also the time taken to sieve the juice after juicing, as it still had some of the insoluble fibre in it.

After watching Jason Vale's demonstration on Youtube I was sold. I watched him putting whole apples in, wow, also when it was juiced... it was juiced!  No messy sieving at the end.

So I bought a brand new one from ebay . I chose ebay as the postage was free which was pretty good for such a bulky package, also I could use the convenience of paypal.

So far I'm still getting the hang of it, I haven't been able to juice whole apples as they get stuck, there must be a knack to it?!  Also, I don't think it extracts as much juice from the leafy greens as my old Oscar did, despite sandwiching them between two apples, which is a bit of a joke, if one gets stuck then... Also a lot of gunk is around the top when removed.
Another difficulty I initially had was with the food pusher. There is a flat part on the food pusher which if not positioned correctly at the back gets stuck and it's quite difficult to
 tug it out.

Despite all this it's so much quicker than my old juicer, washes easily and the juices are delicious!! So sorry Oscar, happy retirement!
