Exercise,what works for me



Love it! Hate it!

I'm beginning to think that exercise is important in my journey back to health. I'm constantly reading on blogs that immediately people begin to lose weight the exercising bug kicks in!  Really ?

Well so far in 4 years it's bypassed me. Yes I have got more energy and I'm sleeping like a baby... sleeping so much the thoughts of crawling out of bed and jogging off to the gym just make me want to pull the duvet over my head again.

I have distant memories of my gym days, well when I say days you could count the number of them on one hand. Yep I signed up for the obligatory 6 months (I thought spending the money upfront  would make me go!) 
I had the tour and I bought two really cute towels for the sweat....sweat! It was the sweat or sweaty, smelly men that
was the last straw, after the mindless videos running on a loop that did nothing to take my mind off the boredom...

So the gym's out, I already walk the dog half an hour to an hour depending on the weather. So I'm considering swimming, Pilates or Yoga. Not sure which would be better Pilates or Yoga so I'm going to go for a trial lesson and then I'll choose. Swimming seems simpler, but in this cold weather the duvet still seems more appealing!
